Welcome to Pet-Paws! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of our custom pet paw creations. By accessing our website, placing an order, or submitting materials (such as photos or paw impressions), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
1. About Us
Pet-Paws is a small business operated by Tracy, based in Washington state, and accessible at tracy@starsunmoon.com, specializing in handmade custom metal paws made from impressions. All products are crafted by hand with care.
2. Ordering & Payment
- All orders are custom-made based on the materials and instructions you provide.
- Prices are listed on the website and are subject to change without notice.
- Payment is required in full at the time of order via our secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe or PayPal).
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including inaccurate information or suspected fraud.
3. Custom Products & Submitted Materials
- You are responsible for providing clear, accurate photos, paw impressions, or other reference materials.
- Because each item is handmade and custom, slight variations from photos or samples are normal and do not constitute a defect.
- By submitting photos, paw impressions, or other materials, you grant Pet-Paws a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them solely to create your custom product and, with your consent, to display the finished work in our portfolio. We may anonymize or crop images to protect privacy (see the Privacy Policy for image use details).
- You warrant that any materials you submit do not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., copyrights).
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Production time varies but is typically stated on the product page or in order confirmation.
- Shipping times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
- International orders may incur customs duties/taxes, which are your responsibility.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- Due to the custom, handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds except in cases of clear defect or error on our part.
- If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos. We will work with you to replace or repair it, or issue a refund, at our discretion at no extra cost.
- Orders may be canceled for a full refund before production begins. Once production starts, cancellations are not possible.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Products are decorative keepsakes and not intended as toys or for any specific functional use.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet-Paws is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on the website (text, images, designs) is owned by Pet-Paws or used with permission. You may not reproduce or use it without written consent. All trademarks, logos, and service marks are the property of Pet-Paws.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
