Thank you for choosing Pet-Paws! This Shipping & Returns Policy explains our processes for production, shipping, delivery, and returns for our handmade custom pet paw creations. Because each item is made just for you, some special rules apply.
Production Time
Every Pet-Paws creation is handmade to order. Production time typically ranges from 2–6 weeks after we receive your impression, depending on current order volume and complexity.
We work hard to complete your order as quickly as possible while maintaining the highest quality. Delays may occasionally occur due to high demand or material needs, and we will keep you updated.
Shipping
- Once your custom item is complete, we carefully package it and ship via trusted carriers (usually USPS Priority within the United States).
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.
- Packages are insured up to $100. For higher-value orders, please contact us to arrange optional additional coverage.
- Estimated delivery times begin after production is complete and are provided by the carrier (typically 3–10 business days domestic; longer for international).
- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or holidays.
- International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country.
- A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships.
Risk of Loss
Once your package is handed to the carrier, risk of loss or damage during transit passes to you. We highly recommend choosing insured shipping for valuable items.
Returns & Refunds
Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, your satisfaction is very important to us.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If your item arrives damaged or has a clear defect due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the issue.
- We will happily repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion, free of charge (including return shipping if needed).
Order Cancellations
- You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before production begins.
- Once production has started (materials prepared or work begun), cancellations and refunds are no longer possible due to the custom nature of the item.
Non-Returnable Situations
- Minor variations from submitted photos or samples (handmade items naturally vary slightly).
- Buyer remorse or change of mind after production begins.
- Issues caused by inaccurate or unclear submitted materials provided by the customer.
